Privacy Policy

• There is no sign-up, login, forum or comment section, so we never ask for your name, email address or phone number.
• Your theme, your recently looked-up characters and the author name you last used when sharing a build are kept in your browser's storage (localStorage). We don't send them to our server separately.
• The realm and character name you enter in the character lookup are only used to fetch data from the Battle.net API, and the result is kept in server memory for 5 minutes. To stop excessive lookups, your IP address is also kept in server memory for 1 minute.
• When you share or upvote a talent build or report dungeon loot, a cookie with a random number (ft_key, ft_dkey) is kept in your browser for 2 years so the same person can't vote or report many times. Our server stores only an irreversible value (hash) made from that number and your IP address mixed with a secret value. It never stores your IP address itself.
• The title, author name and note of a shared build, and the boss names you report, are visible to other visitors. Please don't include personal information.
• For visit statistics and ads, Google automatically collects information such as browser type, device, approximate region, pages viewed and time of visit, using cookies and similar technologies. This information can't identify you personally.
• Cloudflare, which delivers the site, may keep access logs (IP address, request time, requested URL) for a short time for security and troubleshooting.

• To see which pages are read most and improve them (Google Analytics).
• To show ads that cover the cost of running the site (Google AdSense).
• To keep build votes and loot reports from being dominated by one person, and to block excessive requests.
• To block attacks and deliver the site reliably (Cloudflare).

• Forever Tool may show Google AdSense ads.
• Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this site or other websites.
• Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visits to this site and/or other sites on the Internet. Learn more in Google's advertising policy.
• You can opt out of personalized advertising in Google Ads Settings. You can opt out of other third-party vendors' cookies for personalized advertising at aboutads.info.
• You can stop visit statistics with the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on.
• You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. All information stays available without cookies; only build votes and loot reports may not work properly.

• We don't sell or share visitor information. These are the outside services we use to run the site:
• Cloudflare: hosting and delivery, storage of shared builds and loot reports
• Google: visit statistics (Google Analytics), ads (Google AdSense)
• Blizzard Entertainment: character and realm status data come from the Battle.net API. Your browser loads game icons directly from Blizzard's official icon server.

• Google Analytics event data is deleted automatically after 14 months.
• Shared builds and loot reports are kept while the site runs. To have yours removed, contact contact@forever-tool.com.
• Ad cookies and Cloudflare access logs are kept according to each company's policy.

We don't knowingly collect information from children under 13.
